On the 23rd of November, 2024, His Eminence Metropolitan Ilarion, Primate of The Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada, commemorated the solemn anniversary of the Holodomor by serving a Memorial Litya for the blessed repose of the souls of all those who perished as a result of the tragic, man made famine. These prayers were offered at City Hall in Edmonton, Alberta, as a part of the annual Holodomor commemoration in the City of Edmonton. His Eminence was assisted by Clergy from Edmonton and the surrounding area.
