On Sunday, November 1, 2026, His Eminence Metropolitan Ilarion celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Edmonton, AB. He was assisted by the clergy of the Western Eparchy.

The Divine Liturgy marked the prayerful conclusion of the Western Eparchy Assembly and provided an opportunity for clergy and faithful to unite in common prayer and Holy Communion, to give thanks to God for the opportunity to gather, discuss matters concerning the life of the Church, and reflect on their continued service to the Church.
