On Friday September 23, Metropolitan Ilarion and Bishop Andriy along with the clergy present from parishes across Canada, served a Hierarchal Divine Liturgy, accompanied by the clergy that were ordained by His Eminence Metropolitan John. At the conclusion of the Liturgy, the second part of a funeral for a Hierarch took place for Metropolitan John.  The day concluded with the interment service at Woodlawn Cemetery, where the physical remains of Metropolitan John were laid to rest.
