During the course of his continuing visit to Ukraine, His Grace Bishop Ilarion of Edmonton & Locum Tenens of the Metropolitan Cathedral responded to an invitation to visit the Ivan Ohienko Historical Museum in Brusyliv, the birthplace of His Beatitude Metropolitan +Ilarion (Ohienko), of thrice-blessed memory, Primate of the Ukrainian Greek-Orthodox Church of Canada from 1951-1972.
Accompanied by Archpriest Oleh and Mat. Oksana Romanyna, Vladyka Ilarion was hosted by the Director of the Museum, Svitlana Ivanivna Karas’, who was joined by the Chair of the Brusyliv United Territorial Community, Volodymyr Vasyliovych Habanets’ to welcome their honoured guest.
