On June 17, 2026, His Eminence Metropolitan Ilarion and His Grace Bishop Andriy attended the meeting of the Canadian Conference of Orthodox Bishops meeting, in Toronto, ON.

The meeting was an opportunity for the Orthodox Bishops with parishes in Canada to meet, face to face, and discuss administrative matters as well as share the challenges and opportunities of their respective jurisdictions.

The meeting was hosted by His Eminence Archbishop Soterios of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Canada.  Gathered at the meeting were also: His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate (OCA), His Grace Bishop Ioan Cassian of the Romanian Orthodox Archdiocese in America and Canada (Patriarchate of Romania), His Grace Bishop Clement, Auxiliary Bishop of the Bulgarian Orthodox Diocese of the USA, Canada and Australia.
