On Saturday, October 25, 2025, His Eminence Metropolitan Ilarion chaired the Assembly of the Western Eparchy. Clergy and Lay delegates from parishes across the Eparchy gathered at St. John’s Cathedral in Edmonton for the session, and for strengthening bonds between each other, as well as establishing some new ones.

The plenary session was preceded by the Divine Liturgy followed by a Панахида/Memorial Litiya concluded with Great Vespers and Litiya, and the Youth Appreciation Banquet. This banquet celebrates the youth of our Eparchy as well as honours the altar servers/acolytes.
