On July 16, 2022, His Grace Bishop ILARION, Bishop of Edmonton and the Western Eparchy, Locum Tenens of the Metropolitan Cathedral,celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Elia, Edmonton. His Grace was assisted by Rt. Rev. Protopresbyter Stephan SEMOTIUK, Very Rev. Mitred Archpriest Georg PODTEPA, Very Rev. Archpriest Cornell ZUBRITSKI, Rev. Fr. Dr. Roman SHIYAN, Rev. Fr. Vasyl MASKAL, and Rev. Fr. Protodeacon Gary BOYCHUK.

During the Divine Liturgy His Grace Bishop ILARION ordained Subdeacon Evan PANCHUK to the Holy Diaconate.

In his pastoral message of guidance, His Grace Bishop ILARION called on the newly ordained Fr. Deacon Evan to become a faithful and humble servant to the Church of Christ.

Following the Divine Liturgy, His Grace Bishop ILARION gave his archpastoral blessing to the faithful.
