On the 22nd of February, 2026, His Eminence Metropolitan Ilarion, Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada, marked the beginning of the Great and Holy Fast, being present for Forgiveness Vespers, at the Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Edmonton, Alberta. His Eminence lead the Clergy and Laity present in the rite of mutual forgiveness.
