On December 12, 2025, His Eminence Metropolitan Ilarion attended the celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Ordination of Archpriest Michael Maranchuk.

The evening began with Great Vespers celebrated at Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Thorhild, AB. At the conclusion of the service, His Eminence expressed greetings, presented Fr. Michael with an Icon of the Sainted Metropolitans of Kyiv. Following the Divine Service, a celebratory reception was held in the parish hall. May God Grant the Archpriest Michael good strength, and many years of service in His Vineyard.
