Ecumenical Patriarchate – Communique

The Holy and Sacred Synod convened, under the chairmanship of His All-Holiness, in its regular session, on the 21st and 22nd of July 2022, at the Holy Monastery of the Holy Trinity on Halki and at the Patriarchate, to examine the issues listed on the agenda.

During the last session, upon the proposal of His All-Holiness, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, the following were elected by the Holy and Sacred Synod in the All-Venerable Patriarchal Church:
a) Bishop Hilarion of Edmonton as Archbishop of Winnipeg and Metropolitan of the Ukrainian Orthodox Parishes in Canada under the Ecumenical Patriarchate,

b) Archbishop Job of Telmessos as Metropolitan of Pisidia, and

c) Archimandrite Constantine Moralis as Bishop of Sassima, Assistant to His Eminence Metropolitan Isaiah of Denver.
