On Sunday, August 23, 2026, the twelfth Sunday after Pentecost, His Eminence Metropolitan Ilarion celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. He was assisted by Mitred Archpriest Cornell Zubritsky, Rev. Fr. Oleh Romanyna, and Protodeacon Yaroslav Boychuk. During the service, we also commemorated the Independence of Ukraine. Following the Divine Liturgy, a Moleben for Ukraine was served, praying for peace, freedom, and for the people of Ukraine.
