ВІРУЮ!

Після наших зустрічей в попередні неділі з Христом воскреслим – з Ісусом, Божественним Лікарем, Світлом для світу, сьогодні ми зустрічаємо осіб, які намагалися знайти відповідні слова, щоб висловити ту віру, яка випливає з цих зустрічей.

Сьогодні ми святкуємо пам’ять Святих Отців Першого Вселенського Собору. Вони разом трудилися під надхненням Святого Духа, щоб знайти відповідь на питання: Хто цей Ісус, що вчив та чуда творив, та що був розп’ятий, воскрес і вознісся на Небо, обіцяючи, що Він буде зі Своїми учнями на віки? Чи Він просто найкраща людина, яка колинебудь жила на цьому світі? Чи Він більш чим те?

Святі Отці дійшли до висновку, що Він – Бог у тілі! Неможливе стало дійсністю. Бог справді поміж нас. Ісус – дійсно Людина. Але Він також і Бог! Ось цю істину ми ісповідуємо, і на ній будуємо своє життя.

Але для багатьох людей дуже важко сприйняти, що Людина може бути в той самий час Богом. Чому б не оминути такий парадокс і просто зосередити свою увагу на наш потенціял стати добрими людьми під надхненням примірного життя Ісуса?

Та правда остається правдою, чи її важко нам сприйняти чи ні. Ми віримо, тому що це правда. І віруючи, ми знаходимо важливе значіння тому терпінню, якого мусимо ми переходити в своєму житті. Це терпіння поєднує нас з Ісусом – Чоловіком, що є рівночасно Богом. Поєднавшись з Ісусом, ми єднаємось з Богом.

Ми ніколи не пропадемо! Труднощі цього світу ніколи не зможуть нас знищити. Навпаки вони нас підготовляють до вічності, яка до речі вже розпочалася. І ми завжди будемо з Ісусом у Його терпінню та в Його перемозі. Він – живий вовіки! Ми також житимемо вовіки. Ми живі! Ми назавжди будемо живі!

I BELIEVE!

After our previous Sundays’ meetings with the risen Christ, Jesus the Healer, the Light of the world, today we meet some men who struggled to find the words to express the faith which arises from these meetings.

Today we celebrate the Fathers of the First Ecumenical Council. They worked together under the guidance of the Holy Spirit to arrive at an answer to the question: Who is this Jesus Who taught and worked miracles, and Who was crucified, rose again and ascended to Heaven promising to be with His followers forever? Is He simply the most wonderful Man Who ever lived upon this earth? Or is He more than that?

And the Fathers arrived at the conclusion: He is God incarnate! The impossible has become reality. God is truly with us. Jesus is indeed a Man. But He is also God. This is the truth that we confess and upon which we build our lives.

Yet for many people it is a exceedingly difficult to accept that a Man can at the same time be God. Why not avoid this paradox then and simply concentrate on our potential to become good people inspired by Jesus’ example?

However truth is truth, whether it be difficult to comprehend or not. We believe because this is the truth. And believing, we discover an important meaning to the suffering that we undergo in our lives. This suffering links us with Jesus – the Man Who is also God. United with Jesus we are united with God.

We shall never perish! The troubles of this world can never destroy us. On the contrary they prepare us for an eternity which has already begun. And we shall be forever with Jesus – in His suffering and in His victory. He lives forever. We too shall live forever. We live! We shall always live!

E CROIS!

Après les rencontres entre Jésus réssuscité et Jésus le Guérisseur, qui est la Lumière du monde, nous rencontrons des gens qui ont lutté pour trouver comment exprimer la foi qui vient de ces rencontres.

Aujourd’hui nous fêtons les Pères du Premier Concile Oécumenique. Ils ont travaillé ensemble sous la direction du Saint-Esprit pour arriver à une réponse à la question: qui est ce Jésus, qui a enseigné en faisant des miracles, qui a été crucifié, et qui est resusscité et monté au ciel en promettant d’être avec ses fidèles à jamais? Est-ce qu’Il n’est que le plus merveilleux homme qui a jamais vécu au monde? Ou est-ce qu’Il est plus que ça?

Et les Pères sont arrivé à la conclusion: Il est Dieu incarné! L’impossible est devenu réalité. Dieu est vraiment avec nous. Jésus est vraiment homme. Mais Il est aussi vraiment Dieu. C’est la vérité que nous exprimons et sur laquelle nous construisons notre vie.

Mais pour beaucoup de gens, c’est un problème d’accepter qu’un homme peut être en même temps Dieu. Pourquoi ne pas oublier ce paradoxe et tout simplement concentrer sur notre potentiel de devenir de bonnes personnes, inspiré par son exemple?

Mais la vérité reste la vérité même si c’est difficile de comprendre. Nous croyons parce que c’est vrai. Et en croyant nous trouvons une signification importante des souffrances que nous avons dans notre vie. Ils nous lient avec Jésus – Jésus l’homme qui est aussi Jésus-Dieu. Étant lié avec Jésus, nous sommes unis à Dieu.

Nous ne périrons jamais. Les troubles du monde n’auront jamais la possibilité de nous détruire. Ils nous préparent pour une éternité, qui a déjà commencé de se dérouler. Et nous serons toujours avec Jésus – dans ses souffrances et dans sa victoire. Il est vivant pour toujours – nous vivrons aussi pour toujours. Nous vivons. Nous vivrons!
